New name, same commitment to quality and service.

So what’s in a name?

Ten years ago, websites were still anathema to many schools. And if they did have one, the chances are it would be over-priced and under-performing.

We realised we could save cost and be kind to the environment by not having a travelling sales force, as part of a wider ethical ethos. And being based in Greenwich, green seemed an obvious choice for a name – thus was born Green Schools Online.

The Next Chapter…

Now, with over one thousand schools using our fully supported Content Management System, we are a family of experts, passionate about the craft. We wanted our name to be more explicit about our focus, yet still reflect our ethical, green approach and down to earth nature. And everything is online these days, so that had to go. Greenhouse School Websites explains us much better – essentially, we grow school websites. And yes it’s snappier to say (that matters too!).
