School website checklist
Just a reminder that we’ve updated our free school website checklist for 2019/20.
It lists the:
- Statutory website content requirements
- Additional information Ofsted are required to check on your school website
- Other recommended information to add to your website

Schools have a statutory duty to arrange for specific information to be published on a website.
The history of these requirements stem from the The School Information (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 – basically amendments to The School Information Regulations 2012.
In addition there are SEN regulations as well as Governing Body guidance to comply with.
Ofsted also revised their guidance to inspectors in September 2018.
In May 2018 – The DfE also updated their guidance on the information which schools MUST publish online.
