Latest School and Trust Website Design Launches by Greenhouse School Websites
We’ve been working on a number of gorgeous school website designs lately, including a shared design used over several schools in a Trust. Below you can find a selection of our favourite school website designs that we have launched this month.
Schoolsworks Academy Trust
This Trust website design is a firm favourite here in the office. When first visiting the home page, the animated statistics count up to show the numbers of schools, pupils, staff and families in the Trust. A full-screen photo gallery background shows off a selection of fantastic photos taken at each of the Schools. (Do your current photos show off your school in its best light? Asymmetric wiggles separate each section of the home page, and buttons are freeform blob shapes, adding a feeling of friendliness and whimsy, which is ideal for a Primary School Trust website design.
We also created new designs for each of the seven schools in the Schoolsworks Trust. They share a family design, and so each school website is similar, but not identical, to each other.
River Beach Primary School
The River Beach Primary School website design uses a dark blue shade as its primary colour, which matches the school uniform. Upcoming diary dates and the three most recent news items can be found on the homepage, underneath the Welcome section. At the top of the website, an expanding description box shows that the school is a part of the Schoolsworks Academy Trust. This box also contains a link to the Trust website.
Downsbrook Primary School
The design for Downsbrook Primary School uses the light green shade found in the logo throughout the website. The blue and orange shades found in the Schoolsworks logo have been used as accent colours throughout the website. The social media tab on the right-hand side of the website pulls out to show the twitter accounts for the school and for the trust. The headteacher’s photo sits in another irregular blob in the Welcome section of the homepage.
All Saints Catholic Academy Trust
The design for the All Saints Academy Trust is vibrant and multi-hued, as inspired by the Academy Trust’s logo. Pink, blue, orange and green can be found throughout the website; the text styling uses each of these colours across different heading types and hyperlinks. The Quick Links box on the left of the website is orange, whilst the Noticeboard on the right-hand side of the home page is green. The full-screen photo background has been overlaid with a multi-coloured filter using all of the colours from the logo, tying the look together nicely.
St John’s Catholic Primary School
We have also recently redesigned several websites for schools in the All Saints Catholic Academy Trust, including St John’s Catholic Primary School. Similarly to the Trust website, this school website design has a compact home page, with important information being shown on numerous side tabs. In contrast to the Trust’s vibrant colour scheme, this website uses a more neutral blue palette. A full-screen photo background is overlaid with the school’s motto, “Learning and Living God’s Truth in Love”.
St Martin of Porres Catholic Primary School
Finally, this new website is another lovely primary school website design, bringing together pale blues and greens. The homepage shows important information including upcoming diary dates, school news, and the school’s twitter feed. A translucent version of the school logo is laid over the full-screen photo background on the homepage. Also, the inside pages show diary dates and news items in the sidebar, making it incredibly easy for parents to stay informed about goings-on at the school.
