What must academies, free schools and colleges publish on their websites?

Maintained schools must publish certain information on their websites by law. Academies, free schools and colleges should check their funding agreements to see what information they are required to publish on their websites.

However, in June 2016, the DfE published a list of information which it recommends that these types of school publish online. This information covers:

  1. Contact details
  2. Admission arrangements
  3. Exclusion arrangements
  4. Ofsted reports
  5. Exam and assessment results
  6. Performance tables
  7. Curriculum
  8. Behaviour policy
  9. Pupil premium
  10. Year 7 literacy & numeracy catch up premium
  11. PE and sport premium for primary schools
  12. SEND
  13. Equality objectives
  14. Annual reports and accounts
  15. Governors’ information and duties
  16. Charging and remission policies
  17. Value and ethos
