Ealing School Website Design
Below we take a look at some of our favourite website designs from schools based in Ealing, London.
Mayfield Primary & Nursery School, Ealing
We love creating website designs featuring adorable animals. Darwin the Owl, the hero of the Mayfield Primary School website, was created by Phoebe, a former student of the school. We felt that an outdoor scene was surely the best background for Darwin’s adventures. However, we didn’t want to restrict the woodsy scene to one season; every three months the details on the tree branches change to match the season accordingly.
Website visitors can view the Welcome message by clicking on the “Welcome” speech bubble on the right-hand side of the home page gallery.
Oldfield Primary School, Ealing
We love challenging our designers to create beautiful, bespoke illustrated skylines for our websites, working local landmarks, scenic rivers or unusual modes of transport into the design to show off a school’s unique attributes. However, for the Oldfield Primary School website, the illustrated header features self-portraits drawn by the pupils of the school. The homepage also features a box of changing quotes from Ofsted, the school’s twitter feed, and upcoming dates for parents’ diaries.
Selborne Primary School
Selborne Primary School wanted to emphasize their outstanding Ofsted rating to prospective parents on their new website. Therefore, we placed the Ofsted badge prominently on the homepage, above the strapline of “Inspire and Achieve”. The homepage of the school website also displays a lot of information for visitors to the site. This includes an embedded video and a twitter feed, as well as a scrolling noticeboard message.
St John’s Primary School
Here is another website design in Ealing that features embedded videos of the school on the homepage. This, coupled with a panel of social media boxes (Instagram and Twitter) and upcoming diary dates, means that visitors to the website can gain a lot of insight into life at St John’s Primary School very quickly. The images displayed on the full-screen photo gallery are a great example of fun and interesting professional photography.
